Things went great when I got my teeth cleaned a few months ago. The staff was friendly, I paid about what I expected, good experience. Then I had to get a root canal. I wasn’t told ANYTHING about what to expect. The lady at the front desk told me it would cost about $1,000, that was it. The day comes and only when I’m sitting in the chair about to start the procedure that the dentist asks me if I know what a root canal is. Why she didn’t ask me before, I don’t know. The actual procedure itself was excruciating. I have trouble with dental procedures in general, but this one was by far the worst thing I’ve ever had to go through. And it wasn’t until they were giving me the shots that they asked if I had anxiety or trouble with pain. Turns out they could have given me something an hour prior, but didn’t tell me until I was already sitting in the chair. Something that could have been avoided if the dentist had just spoken to me the day I came in for the X-rays. The dental dam was awful. I couldn’t breathe and I felt like I was going to vomit the entire time. Bless the sweet, young nurse who helped me through the whole thing and would give me suction when I needed it so I wouldn’t gag on my own saliva. The entire procedure was painful even with four sets of shots. Finally after about two hours (though it felt like a week), the dentist finally finishes up. I have to ask if I’m not allowed to eat or drink anything specific because I don’t trust her at this point to relay any useful information. She tells me no, that I can eat and drink whatever. Except that was a lie. I couldn’t eat solid foods for a good couple weeks because the pain was so terrible. I had to call up the office and ask if this was normal, to which I was told “yes,” and that it’s only unusual if the pain lasts more than 3-4 weeks. The dentist had even opportunity to tell me this, but didn’t. I had to force the information out of her. Meanwhile I’m miserable wondering if I’m ever going to eat solid foods again. After the root canal, I went to pay the $1,000 only to find out I need to pay ANOTHER $1,000 in 3 weeks to replace the temporary crown. WHY did no one tell me this? I was out of work at the time and I REALLY don’t appreciate dumping half my savings into the root canal only to find out I would need to pay the rest of my savings into an expense literally no one warned me of until I couldn’t back down. But today was the final straw. I wasn’t called in to get the crown replaced until about a month and a half after my initial procedure. And even then they didn’t have an appointment open for another week. I have a new job, luckily, so I made an appointment for after work at 7. I get all the reminders, I mentally prepare myself, I grit my teeth (metaphorically) knowing how much this will drain my account after two months of unemployment. I get a phone call at around 5 today saying they want me to take some medication before the procedure so I won’t be anxious and I’m asked if I can come in at 6 instead of 7. She called me at 5. So I’m order to make it there by 6, I would have had to leave work at that moment. Why nobody thought to tell me this earlier, I don’t know. Even if they had called in the morning, I could have made arrangements, but I can’t just leave work at the drop of a hat. I ask if I can arrive at 6:30, the earliest possible time I can. The receptionist said no because then they’d have to end at 9:30 after they close. I didn’t even know crown replacements took so long. Again, NO ONE told me ANYTHING. So we try to make another appointment. The only one they have is at the end of this month, 5 weeks after I SHOULD have gotten this done already. I told her I was worried since I’ve had a temporary crown for much longer than I was told to. Receptionist just told me to “try not to eat on that side.” I’m going to try and find another dentist to get my crown replaced. I’m sick of always being in the dark about everything.

Horrible customer service ever. Poor treatment. I had very bad experience with the recipients and Akash. They took my money without proper treatment. I was in pain without treatment. I will never come back and I am not recommending this clinic to anyone.
