  Incompetent, inefficient and rude staff. Avoid at all cost. I asked about the difference in my coverage options, which should be very basic auto insurance knowledge, and the lady couldn't explain anything and got very impatient with me. Not sure if it is her problem or the service standard of this place.

  I was quite surprised how unfriendly an insurance advisor can be towards a new client. The person I spoke to about a car insurance was unwilling to hear my preferences and they were just rushing to close the deal as soon as possible. After having such uncomfortable experience, I chose to request an alternative quote from the insurance broker who made my initial registration with ICBC, and the difference was overwhelming! The guy took his time to put together various options to meet my needs, including an option with a private insurance, and the whole communication was made in a friendly professional manner. That's how it should be, and that's where I'm going to renew my insurance.
